Source: Hut on the official community wiki; power requirement table and pollution reference. These are documented wiki values, not measured throughput. Task duration is not units per second; staffing, hauling and active methods affect production. Conflicting source fields are labeled rather than resolved by guessing.
Connect housing to a road and select it to see the blue employment boundary. The official FAQ says a Hut cannot upgrade directly into a House: demolish and replace it or build a House elsewhere. Both use the same three-hex footprint, so replacement can retain the layout. A home is also a staffing constraint, not just a population count.

- The publisher-hosted Buildings table lists 4 Wood and 4 Stone, with a happiness bonus next to two Potato Patches. Older Demo housing-neighbor effects are not combined with that record.
- The official guide says jobs must lie inside the home’s blue boundary. Different building heights also prevent adjacency effects, so a visually close workplace or home is not enough.
- Children need a home inside school range with an empty slot. The hut alone does not grow the town.
- Before replacing occupied homes, preserve enough alternative housing and check workplace coverage. This follows from the official employment-range rule; the page does not claim a universal Hut population cap.
Opening order: beginner guide. Adjacency limits: power and adjacency.
