Source: Storage Shed on the official community wiki; power requirement table and pollution reference. These are documented wiki values, not measured throughput. Task duration is not units per second; staffing, hauling and active methods affect production. Conflicting source fields are labeled rather than resolved by guessing.

This is one of the few capacities I can quote from the Hooded Horse starter guide rather than a wiki: 4 resource types, 20 units of each. I would build it before the burner has been on continuous power. Soot, slag, sludge and wood waste all compete for those slots. A full by-product store on the producing building still halts that building; the shed is the overflow, not a license to ignore the bin.

The starter guide describes four resource types, 20 units each. The publisher-hosted wiki is more specific: four stacks of 20 can hold either the same or different resources. This is configurable storage, not a universal producer-bin capacity. Place sheds close to producers or consumers and inspect transport pressure before adding more production. Pair the shed with the soot guide and Cleaner.

The reference above provides sourced construction and power fields. The wiki lists Hut as the technology prerequisite and a Bigger on the Inside perk adding one stack of 20. These are wiki records, not a measured capacity test. The 20-unit figure does not apply to every building’s output or by-product store.
